Certified Translation of Your Middle School Certificate
Applying for an apprenticeship, the recognition of your education or a visa in Germany often requires a certified translation of your middle school certificate (for example the German equivalent of a Mittlere Reife or Realschulabschluss). A person reviews your document before we name a price. You receive a free, non-binding quote with your personal fixed price and no hidden costs.
Why the translation has to be certified
German schools, chambers, employers and authorities usually accept foreign school certificates only with a translation by a sworn translator (vereidigter Übersetzer). Depending on the federal state, translators are sworn, appointed or authorised by a court. If an authority rejects the translation, we correct it free of charge.
What to send us
- a clear photo or scan of every page of the certificate, including the back if it has stamps
- the transcript or grade sheet, if it is a separate document
- the spelling of your name as in your passport
- the purpose, for example apprenticeship application, recognition or visa
How it works
- Send your documents using our request form.
- You usually receive your quote within a few hours, often sooner.
- Confirm the order. A sworn translator starts once you accept the quote.
- Receive your translation. If you wish, you get a PDF by email in advance; the stamped original follows by post.
- Pay by bank transfer after you have received your translation. No prepayment is required.
Delivery time
Delivery usually takes 3 to 6 working days; it may vary depending on the language and scope. Your personal delivery time is stated in your quote.
